Brunswick Heads is situated on the coast of northern NSW, 30 minutes south of the Gold Coast airport (Coolangatta) and 15 minutes north of Byron Bay.
By car
The town center and main residential areas are accessible less than 1km from major off-ramps on the Pacific Highway. The Yelgun to Brunswick Highway and new Brunswick bridge has been completed. Brisbane is now only two hours drive. Take the Ocean Shores/Billinudgel turn off when coming from the north and follow the signs.
By air
Coolangatta Airport is 30 minutes to the north and is well serviced by Virgin Airlines and Jetstar, with numerous flights to major cities each day.
Ballina-Byron Airport is 30 minutes to the south and is serviced by Virgin and Jestar, with a few flights to major cities each day.
Both airports have paid long term car parking facilities.
By bus
Regular bus and airport shuttle services operate daily from Ballina-Byron Airport, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Coolangatta Airport and Casino (CountryLink) for those travelling from other regions.
Bus line services are also available to pick up from Brisbane, Lismore, Ballina and other main cities around Australia.

By train
With the closure of the train line through the Byron Shire, train travel is now only possible from Sydney to Casino, with a Countrylink bus connection to major towns in the region.
By sea
Brunswick Heads has a boat harbour with a marina and berths for visiting craft. Boats entering and leaving the heads must be aware of the dangerous bar.
By bike
The more adventurous can now take advantage of the improved bikeways from Tweed Heads and the Tweed Coast to Brunswick Heads.
