- Foreshore Pathways
Linking communities and keeping them healthy. Plus an all-age exercise fitness trail. - Ring the Church Bells
Ring the bells in one of the town's churches whenever whales are approaching, so that people can down to the breakwall or beach to view them. - Memorial Hall Community Kitchen
Will enable more community based events, thus promoting community unity, generate revenue and provide opportunities for training. Local Community will have a 'hub' to gather together for intergenerational activities. - Lighting
Increase young people’s and families access to recreational venues, and improved bicycle and walking access between Bayside and town. - Maintain Integrity of Harbour and Surrounding Reserves
Preserve harbour & facilities for use by residents & public
Surrounding Crown Land to be retained for use by public and residents. - Brunswick Heads Emergency Disaster Plan
Awareness campaign to inform locals and visitors about where to go & what to do in case of an emergency or disaster. - Youth Mentorships: Vocational and Personal
Connect youth with local professionals, tradespeople, inspired individuals, artists, musicians, sportspeople, etc. - Kids Playground and other Facilities For Families
Improve existing playgrounds (shade & fence at Bayside)
New playground designed to cater for children with and without disabilities
Create family activity space (multi-activity & use) with children's circular bike
track with safety education. BBQs, picnic tables, shade, etc. eg at South Beach Park. - Torakina Park Management
Remove deadwood
Land restoration, remove weeds. - Community Food Garden
Community access to garden plots. - Street Food
Grow food trees all over Bruns/Bayside, eg; Pecans, citrus, bush tucker. - Holiday Accommodation
Maintain communication on holiday accommmadion issues with government and industry.
Raise awareness of importance to the economy/town & the fragility of tourism activity
Ensure continuity of holiday accommodation.
