Community Information

Information about village life in Brunswick Heads

Apart from providing visitor information, bus bookings, merchandise sales and internet and photocopying services, the Brunswick Heads Visitor Centre at 7 Park St acts as a Project Office or "engine room" for a myriad of projects, events and campaigns. A team of friendly volunteers staff the Centre 7 days per week.

Although Brunswick Heads has a resident population of only 1636, the community is very active, with approximately 40 community organisations and groups running meetings and activities to enhance the well-being of the town. That's what village life is all about in Brunswick Heads.

Information on the various groups and activities is available at the Visitor Centre. Community organisations are invited to display their brochures and pamphlets in the community section of the display rack. A large wall space is allocated inside for the display of information, storyboards and updates on community projects, such as the Tweed St Masterplan, and various planning documents are available for perusal at the Centre by locals and visitors.

The Brunswick Heads Community Activities Directory has been produced by volunteers to provide information to locals, visitors and new settlers to the area about what is on offer in and around Brunswick Heads.

Further information on community activities is available at the Brunswick Valley Community Centre, which is located over the bridge on South Beach Rd.
