Paddle Fun and Challenges


The 2013 Mulum2Bruns Paddle offers a great program of fun and challenges on and beside the beautiful Brunswick River. The paddle fun and challenges start at Heritage Park in Mullumbimby and conclude in Brunswick Heads. The exit is at the Scout Hall past the bridge (not the small beach at Terrace Park), and festival fun runs for the rest of the day in the Terrace Park. 

Register at least an hour before your event start time, however Fun paddlers can regsiter and launch anytime between 7.30am and 9am.  

7.00-9.30  Lions BBQ breakfast & coffee cart in Heritage Park, water at the T shirt stand

7.30          Registration opens for all paddle events at Hertitage Park
7.30-9.00  10km Echo Fun Paddle - Registration and start at Heritage Park
9.30          10km Ocean Shores Tavern Paddle Challenge - start at Heritage Park
9.45          10km Print Rescue Stand Up Paddle Challenge - start at Heritage Park

Breakfast & lunch BBQS, snacks, fresh juices, soft drinks & water from 9am in Terrace Park

9.30          TURSA Board challenges from Torakina - Registration at 8.30
11.00        Mullum Sari Nipper relays - Brunswick road bridge to footbridge

The North Coast Holiday Parks Best Decorated Craft will be judged near the start of the paddle.

Dry Storage for Paddlers at the Scout Hall

Dry storage is available in the Scout Hall, which is right at the finish line. The cost is $5 per person for a box.

A drop off for dry clothes and money is available the night before the Paddle between 5 and 7 pm, and also on the day from 6.30 am. Then collect your things when you finish.

The hall will close an hour after the last paddler comes in.

A box is provided.

This is a fundraiser for 1st Brunswick Heads Scouts.
