Secondhand Fairs

If you love selling or buying secondhand treasures, Brunswick Heads is the place to be on the June long weekend each year! Several of the town's venues host secondhand fairs throughout the day including The Memorial Hall which offers indoor stalls, the School which has indoor, undercover and outdoor stalls, and Ye Olde Church Fair with its garden stalls.  Between them, the three fairs offer over 100 stalls, and all fairs are within walking distance of each other.

In 2013, ten secondhand shops were plotted on a trail and many others also offered alluring specials for the day (and the weekend).  With so much going on, what a great place to come and stay for the whole weekend!

Unauthoried stalls may be fined
Please note that unregistered stalls on the grassy verges (owned by Council) or on public property are not permitted. Stalls must either be garage sales and held entirely within the private property boundary, or be conducted inside one of the above venues.

Council Rangers will be on duty and fines will be issued for unauthorised stalls.

Get involved for 2014
If you missed out this year, come and enjoy the treasure hunting next year.  Old & Gold is an annual event held on the June long weekend each year (Saturday 7th June 2014).   Stay tuned to this website for all the details.  There will be a call for stall holders around April 2014.
