All Town Garage Sale
A record 83 garage sales registered for the All Town Garage Sale for the 2013 Old & Gold Festival! The sales began at 8am and concluded around 2pm. Households were identified by brightly coloured bunting.
The registration fee of $7 included promotion of each garage sale on the Byron Shire Echo feature page, the loan of 3m of brightly coloured bunting to asssit people to find each sale quickly and an opportunity to go into the draw to win a $75 meal voucher at Footbridge Cafe.
The 2013 All Town Garage Sale was sponsored by The Byron Shire Echo. The full program, including the list of garage sales located on a map, was made available in the Byron Shire Echo on Tuesday 4 June, to assist people in plotting their route around town. The published list also provided an idea of the type of goods for sale and was made available on the website: www.oldngold.com.au, and through the Brunswick Heads Visitor Centre at 7 Park Street.
Festival goers were encouraged to explore the garage sales and fairs on foot and to park their cars at the Memorial Park. The Brunswick Valley Lions Club provided this service as a fundraiser - $2 for all day parking.

Download a copy of the list below. Please take time to look through what is on offer and plot your personalised route, rather than start at #1 and progress through the numbers. The Garage Sales commence at 8am (no earlier please) and finish up around 1pm. You should be able to cover quite a few in that time. The various Secondhand Fairs are open until 3pm. Please park at the Memorial Park. All-day parking is $2 which supports the Lion's Club.
