Brunswick Heads Community Groups

Brunswick Heads has about 40 community groups (quite a large number considering the population of 1613) and they cover all facets of village life. A few of these are incorporated and fulfil the meeting and reporting requirements of the Associations Incorporations Act. Some groups are not incorporated but meet on a regular basis. Some function independently, but are under the auspices of either the Chamber of Commerce or the Progress Association. Many of the groups listed operate on an informal basis, with meetings called as required.

The Community Representatives Forum was set up in 2004, for the purpose of bringing one representative of each of the town's community groups to discuss issues of importance to the town as a whole. Five Forums have been conducted on major town issues/projects since then.
