Tweed Regional Gallery and Margaret Olley Art Centre

The Tweed Regional Gallery and Margaret Olley Art Centre is housed in an award winning purpose-built facility with easy access and undercover parking.  It is a public art gallery showing an engaging display of portraits, contemporary and historical artworks by local artists, travelling exhibitions and from the Gallery’s Collection.  The Margaret Olley Art Centre opened in March 2014 as an extension to the Gallery.  It re-creates three rooms of the artist's home in which she painted.  As well, there are changing exhibitions of Margaret Olley artworks or works by related artists. The Gallery is located in a beautiful setting with glorious views of the Tweed River, Mt Warning and the Border Ranges which can be enjoyed from the Gallery Café. Gallery and Café opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm. Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday. Admission is free.
