A variety of organised marine life tours and experiences including whale and dolphin watching, scuba diving and swimming with turtles tours operate from the Brunswick boatharbour and from Byron Bay.

Humpback whales can be seen from the breakwall from May to July while heading north and from September to November while heading south.
